herb gardenIts as easy as one, two three.  One: buy pots (use old or chipped coffee mugs you may have otherwise thrown out) get some soil, and seeds.  Two: plant your seeds.  Three: Give them water, sunlight, a spot on your windowsill, some love and enjoy.

I planted these a few weeks ago, and they are doing quite well.  From left to right i have Coriander, Chives, Basil, and Parsley.  I also have other plants the i potted on another windowsill, that are flourishing, but i felt like I was cheating and wanted to grow my herbs from scratch.  And here is the result just a few weeks in.

This really is a fun project, that brings out the green thumb out to play in all of us.  For somereason my food tastes better when i use herbs from my own apartment garden.  Not to mention, all the fresh herbs come in plastic at the grocery. As an added bonus they look lovely on ones windowsill. So what are you waiting for herbify your garden today, whether it be from buying them from a garden store, and planting them in a pot yourself, or starting from scratch.
