This has been a summer of my love for life and my bicycle! Nothing beats hitting the pavement and cruising around the city on ones velo. Being on the road sometimes is not only frustrating but dangerous when I am constantly avoiding being hit by drivers who just are not aware that cyclists have just as much of a right to be on the road as they do. We need to share the road, and to help spread this awareness, all over North America there is Critical Mass gatherings. In Montreal, QC, Canada, they meet the last Friday of every month. I am planning on doing my first ride at the end of the month and am very excited. In a nutshell the purpose of the rides are to have fun, get the cycling community together, spread awarness, and to celebrate urban cycling. Try googiling critical mass in your area, grab a friend, or just go alone, support a great cause. Be the voice for your velo!
