This beautiful provincial park is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is known for its bicycle paths, and fly fishing, apparently George W frequents these fishing spots quite bit… but more importantly it is home to ecological reserves. I was sick to my stomach, and my heart broke to see that developers had infiltrated the park with disgusting show homes. Whenever I see things like this, I feel like giving up, or I get angry and want to yell at the people purchasing these homes. But at the end of the day all I can wish for is that people will feel the same way I do, and that the demand for these lots will go down. It reminds me of one of my favorite buttons i have that reads “Humans aren’t the only species on earth, we just act like it”. We now have more knowledge than ever on how we impact the environment, and on how we upset the delicate balance of ecosystems, we are past the point of pleading ignorance, lets protect and appreciate our parks, and more importantly give nature the respect it deserves.
Below are some websites for this treasure.
